*Manchester Terrier*




*The Manchester Terrier breed is a small dog with a short, glossy black and tan coat. It looks like a small Doberman Pinscher, but is not related. The Manchester was used for rat killing and for coursing rabbits.

*Origin: England.

*Description: Stubborn...needs careful training, early introduction in the home and much socialization to prevent potential aggression...alternates between timidity and boldness.

*Behavior: Behavior problems may include irritable snapping, dominance challenges and stealing or guarding food from its owner.

*Compatible with children: Use discretion...Caution should be taken when keeping a Manchester Terrier around children because of their dominance display and potentially aggressive behavior.

*Miniature Schnauzer*


                                                              

*The Miniature Schnauzer breed and the Australian Terrier breed are the only Terriers which do not come from the British Isles. The Miniature Schnauzer was developed in Germany to patrol the yard and stable for vermin and intruders.

*Origin: UK - Germany.

*Other names: Zwergschnauzer (Dwarf Schnauzer).

*Description: Alert...spirited...obedient to command...friendly...intelligent...willing to please.

 *Behavior: Behavior problems may include excessive barking, dominance challenges, and stealing and guarding food.

*Compatible with children: Yes..the Miniature Schnauzer breed is generally good with children, but they need gentle play.

 *The Norwitch Terrier is a tiny dog breed  with erect , pointed ears and bright eyes. It was once used for the same job as the Fox Terrier does, driving foxes out of their hiding places for the hounds and the hunt.

*Description: Bold...stubborn...highly intelligent...courageous...affectionate...one-person dog...loyal...scrappy with other dogs.
