 *The Fox Terrier breed is a small dog. There are 2 varieties, one with a smooth coat and the other with a wirehaired coat. These dogs, as the name implies were developed to coax a fox out of its hiding place by lunging, snapping, and growling with unrelenting stubbornness until the fox bolted.
