*Border Terrier*

*The Border Terrier is a small breed with a broad, otter like head and a short muzzle. It was used to hunt, jump, and kill foxes.

*Description: Affectionate...good-tempered...strong...tireless hard worker...strong-willed...the most mild-mannered and least quick-tempered of all the Terriers.

 *Behavior: Behavior problems may center on excessive timidity if not socialized early.

*Bull Terrier*

 *The Bull Terrier breed is a medium sized muscular dog developed for pit fighting.

*Origin: England

*Description: Always ready for a fight or a frolic...full of fire but of sweet disposition...taught to defend itself and master courageously but not necessarily seeking to provoke fights...thrives on affection...wayward and stubborn and needing firm, patient training from the start.

*Behavior: Behavior problems may include willful disobedience, dominance challenges, dog fighting, and pulling on the leash. The breed is also known to snore.

*Compatible with children: Yes...with discretion...Bull Terriers are particularly good with children. Younger dogs, however, may regard children as playmates and because of their strength could cause unintentional injury. They are protective of children in their charge.
