*The Working Dog Breeds*

*Doberman Pinscher*

*The Doberman Pinscher breed suffers from a bad reputation. It is characterized as an aggressive, sometimes vicious large dog that may turn on its master., but the breed as a whole isn't as aggressive as most people think. When training a Doberman it's best not to use punishment or have an impatient, angry attitude. A Doberman trained out of fear is not safe around anyone. In general, they are very alert watchdogs and can be very aggressive guard dogs. They are either reserved or aggressive toward strangers.
