*The Bullmastiff is a very large breed with a genetic foundation that was 60% Mastiff and 40% Bulldog. The result was the "gamekeeper's night dog," used exclusively to pursue, knock down, and hold intruding poachers. This was the dog that became Sylvester Stallone's companion in the film Rocky.

*Behavior: Behavior problems may involve excessive dominance exhibited toward people it considers submissive, possible dominance-motivated aggression, and pulling on the leash.
