*The Greyhound is another dog breed whose function is clearly observable from its build. Greyhounds are built to run fast, to course after deer and to race.

*Description: Lovable...obedient...hardly ever bark...stubborn, and trainable only while calm...high-strung...easily upset by sudden movements...there is a divided opinion on the temperament of the Greyhound, some sources praise its friendliness and gentleness, and others focusing on its potential for being high-strung and nervous..because of its willowy build, it is prone to tremble in cold weather.

 *The Irish Wolfhound breed is an enormous animal, probably the tallest breed of dog in existence...up to 36 inches at the shoulder and reaching up over 7 feet when standing on its hind legs. In the past it was used in hunting wolves in Ireland and for bring down the 6 foot tall Irish Elk.
